WOWSCAPE DEAD?

Looks like around 4,000 records have been corrupted to the point of unrecoverable (on legion). I'll be importing those lost records from a backup and bumping them to the level of which their items are at. Quite lucky really, only 4k out of 618k.

unfortunately the db engine we use isn't crash proof, so if the hardware crashes or theres a power outage stuff gets lost.
theres a backup from the 8th, i'm gonna try to pull whatever characters i can from there, and bump them to the level of their items. that's really all i can do.
(in actual fact its about 0.006 percent that got "corrupted")

freaky part is when I went to bed this morning there was something telling me I had to take a backup but I ignored it.. shoot me

kinda. although its not so much the people playing at the time when it went down. items will hopefully stay the same (hoping the level of corruption on the items table is very low, it's still repairing atm), and i'll use the items table to guess their level

dude, wowscape is gonna die now, if i lost my character, i would leave wow forever and not even think on comin back. on the other hand, i think tomorrow, my tomorrow, i might come back to demigod and just lead a raid because i feel bad that i left my home and i wanna come back and just try to help out the best i can.

You was always home at Demigod, Btw you was the onlyone talking to us since all left and trying your best to keep heads clear, Anita(Mavine) tryed like you but as you both know it's definitly impossible to fuse Unwilling Legends guild and Demigod.

Kind of hard to raid with all those priests that gone and most of Shammys had business, you gone Keta works Head on vacations .... and so on

Great Wowscape is working again and everything seems ok (well i guess)

server may be back on but not back to normal. my char IanBC is still there but im back 2 weeks.

First Aid was 375 now its 0
all weapon skills stuck on 310 (lvl 62) even though my char shows lvl 70
had 1k gold now im down to 400 (thanx Rysard for donation ur awesome)
cant use flying mount since my rider skills down to 150
had to respec AGAIN

yeah sure my characters back and freakin swinging

I lost 5 t6 and 8 other epics, i quit wow, all that raiding gone for some bullshit downtime rollback fuck that shit man, i quit wow forever
