| Hey guys,
This is my perception on the veterans. Basically, they do everything that we could ever ask. They help raids, make raids, own in raids, talk in guild chat, come to the forums, as well as teamspeak, the veterans are like the second versions of officers. The only thing different that it seems is that officers have the special officer chat and we hold the DKP points. While this may occur, I think that we should give Veterans a few more extra privileges. Some of the privileges include:
- Ability to give their perception on the "Welcome Newcomers" section. - Give their own perception on who should be promoted and who shouldn't be. - Access to more things in the Guild Bank.
etc...
What I'm trying to say is that.... Veterans, don't think of yourself as a lesser rank than anyone else, because you guys are the heart and soul of Demigod. I love you guys, keep going strong, don't let out, and always keep your head up!

| cool idea! :D Being able to write in the application thread, organizing the Gbank and stuff like that is uber and gets me all jumpy but about inviting/kicking and stuff... its like spiderman said: with great power comes great responsibility (btw did u know respectability is a word? :O).. and people should be willing to choose if they want that or not. The application you have to write to become an officer gives that choice (Spidey wouldn't fill up the application if his uncle sam didn't get shot ) | |

| I actually think that giving Vets the power to kick ppl is too much. Having the responsibility to make tough decisions (such as kicking a guild member) is precisely one of the things that being officer is about.
Perhaps invite accepted applications and post reports here on the forums about members we think need t be kicked might be a better choice. So officers have the actual final word on kicks/bans. However Vets can be able to demote (but not promote) members based on their judgment. And of course posting the pertinent report here on the forums for the officers to review and evaluate if needed. | |

| I think if Veterans feel that this is too much responsibility, they can just be consultants to the officers. Not necessarily doing the action of removing people or promoting, but consulting on who deserves what and why. | |
